Ava Wood: A Life of Stupendous Love
Ava’s Early Years
Ava Wood was born on June 20, 2008, in the close-knit community of Baldwinsville, New York. From the start, she radiated a spark—curious, fearless, and full of joy. Whether she was racing across a soccer field, exploring new places, or laughing with friends, Ava approached life with an open heart and an infectious energy that drew people in.
As an honors student at Theodore R. Durgee Junior High School and a standout athlete, Ava led with kindness and determination. She had a natural gift for making others feel seen—lifting spirits, sparking laughter, and reminding everyone around her to find joy in the moment.
“You could be having the worst day, and five minutes with Ava made you smile again.”

A Light That Connected Everyone
Ava’s magic was in her ability to connect—with anyone, anywhere. She found beauty in simple things and joy in unexpected places: a cozy corner, a shared meal, a spontaneous adventure.
Friends, teachers, and teammates remember her as the one who made ordinary days feel special and who could turn even the hardest moments into laughter.
She lived boldly and loved fiercely. Ava’s presence was proof that light and laughter can exist side by side with life’s challenges. Her warmth, humor, and heart left an imprint on everyone lucky enough to know her—and on countless others who now carry her story forward.
“She found beauty in the simple things and connection in everyone she met.”

Her Legacy: Stupendous Love
On January 20, 2023, Ava’s life was tragically cut short by her father, who was struggling with mental health challenges he could not overcome. It was an unimaginable loss—but it’s not where her story ends.
Stupendous Love was created in her honor—to transform pain into purpose, to break the silence around mental health, and to keep her radiant light moving forward.
Because Stupendous Love isn’t just a name—it’s a way of living.
It’s about discovering a life you love—one filled with peace, freedom, self-love, and happiness.
It’s unconditional. It’s both the simple and the stupendous moments that make life beautiful.
“Even after devastation, love can rise again.”
Through her legacy, Ava continues to remind us to laugh loudly, love deeply, and live boldly—because that’s how she lived.
We carry her light forward—through stories, style, spaces, and community. And we invite you to do the same.
